About HighFlow Energy
HighFlow Energy exists for one simple reason:
Many households invested in solar and home batteries expecting much lower electricity bills, but those bills never fully went away.
We believe battery owners should get more value from the systems they already own.
Why we started HighFlow Energy
Australia now has nearly half a million home batteries installed and this number is increasing daily.
Most of those batteries spend large parts of the day underused, while households continue to pay:
- Daily supply charges
- Network costs
- Residual usage charges
HighFlow Energy was created to close that gap.
By allowing home batteries to work together when they have spare capacity, we can help reduce or remove electricity bills for participating households.
How we’re different
HighFlow Energy isn’t focused on selling hardware or locking customers into long contracts.
Instead, we:

- Prioritise your home’s energy needs at all times
- Offer a bill-free electricity allowance where eligible

There are no fixed terms and no exit fees. If you decide to leave, you can do so at any time.
Our role and who we work with
HighFlow Energy is a customer-facing electricity brand.
Electricity retail, billing, compliance and market services are provided by ERC Energy Pty Ltd, an authorised Australian electricity retailer, trading under the HighFlow Energy brand.
HighFlow Energy manages customer communications, eligibility and the Bill-Free Allowance program, while ERC Energy provides regulated retail services in accordance with Australian energy laws.
