Customers in Queensland, New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory may be eligible for government assistance to help reduce energy costs. Eligibility requirements and application processes are determined by the relevant government authority and may change from time to time.

Queensland
Queensland Electricity Rebate
The Queensland Electricity Rebate provides assistance to eligible pensioners and concession card holders to help reduce household electricity costs.
Medical Cooling and Heating Electricity Concession Scheme
This scheme assists eligible customers who have a qualifying medical condition requiring the use of cooling or heating equipment.
Home Energy Emergency Assistance Scheme (HEEAS)
HEEAS provides emergency financial assistance to eligible households experiencing difficulty paying energy bills.
Life Support Concessions
Customers who require approved life support equipment may be eligible for additional support and protections.

New South Wales
Low Income Household Rebate
Available to eligible pensioners and low-income households to assist with electricity costs.
Family Energy Rebate
Available to eligible households receiving Family Tax Benefit payments.
Medical Energy Rebate
Available to eligible customers who use medically required equipment at home.
Life Support Rebate
Available to eligible customers who require approved life support equipment.
Seniors Energy Rebate
Available to eligible independent retirees holding a Commonwealth Seniors Health Card.
Energy Accounts Payment Assistance (EAPA)
Provides emergency assistance to eligible customers experiencing short-term financial hardship.

Provides assistance to eligible ACT residents to help meet electricity, gas and water costs..
Life Support Rebate
Available to eligible customers requiring approved life support equipment.
